As you may have seen, the following statement was released by Eddie Moody, Executive Secretary, regarding the closing of the Free Will Baptist national office building…
“In cooperation with the “safer at home” order issued for Davidson County from Tennessee Governor Bill Lee and John Cooper, mayor of Metropolitan Nashville, the Free Will Baptist National Office Building will close, effective Monday, March 23, according to Executive Secretary Eddie Moody. The building will not reopen until the order is lifted (currently through April 6).”
I want to assure you that even though our staff will be working some from home during this time, we will continue to operate in an orderly and efficient way. Our office staff is still here to serve you and your retirement needs. We will continue to receive mail, process your contributions and transactions, and work hard to navigate through this downturn in the market.
During this time of market volatility, I encourage you to remain focused on what you can control: being consistent with your contributions and the frequency at which you invest funds into your retirement account. Consistent contributions to your retirement account provide you a systematic way of taking advantage of investment opportunities as markets go up and down. When markets are down, it is an opportunity to build up investments at a lower cost.
