During this conference, you will get to learn from ministry veterans and denominational leaders on various topics including budgeting, board member responsibility, finance, leadership and much more!

Eddie Moody

Executive Secretary | NAFWB

Eddie Moody is the Executive Secretary of the NAFWB. Previously he was a professor of counselor education and associate dean of the School of Education at North Carolina Central University and served as lead pastor at Tippett’s Chapel in Clayton, NC. He holds a Ph.D. in counselor education from North Carolina State University, an M.A. in clinical psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and a B.A. in pastoral training from Welch College. Moody is the author of various books.

Ron Hunter

CEO | Randall House

Ron Hunter Jr. is the Executive Director & CEO of Randall House Publishing. He has a doctorate in the field of leadership with a core of business from the Cook School of Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. Earlier he graduated from the University of Colorado with his masters in public administration. Dr. Hunter has written policy, taught policy, and been part of board development for several organizations.

John Brummitt

President/CEO | Board of Retirement

John Brummitt is the President/CEO of the Free Will Baptist Board of Retirement. He has worked for the department since 2006. John graduated from Welch College in 2004 with a B.A in business administration. He went on to earn his MBA with an emphasis in finance from Tennessee Tech University in 2011.  He serves on the board of the Free Will Baptist Foundation.

J. Matthew Pinson

President | Welch College

J. Matthew Pinson is Welch College’s fifth president.  He attended Welch College and went on to graduate from the University of West Florida with a B.A. in humanities and M.A. in history. President Pinson received his Master of Arts in Religion from Yale University. President Pinson completed his doctorate in higher education leadership from Vanderbilt University. He is the author or editor of numerous articles and books.

Elizabeth Hodges

Director | WNAC

Elizabeth Hodges is the director of WNAC.  After graduating from Free Will Baptist Bible College in 1976, she went on to earn her Masters in Education (M. Ed.) with an emphasis in Early Childhood from Georgia Southern University. She earned her Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University. She completed 29 years in the field of education both in the classroom and in administration.

Clint Morgan

General Director | IM, Inc.

Clint Morgan is the Director of IM Inc. He and his wife Lynette served as missionaries in Côte d’Ivoire (1976-2007) and France (2007-2011). Clint developed and oversaw the creation of The Hanna Project in 2004. Clint also served as a regional director since the program’s inception in 2004. Clint earned his B.A. at Welch College. His M.A. in Intercultural Studies and TEFL Certificate are from Columbia International University, S.C. He has a degree in French from the University of Nantes, France.

Jeff Nichols

Outreach/Church Life Pastor | TDF

Jeff Nichols is the outreach/church life pastor of The Donelson Fellowship.  He has served large and small FWB churches in Oklahoma, Missouri and Tennessee. He has been on staff at TDF since 1993, serving in roles of Children’s Pastor, Executive Pastor and now as Outreach/Church Life Pastor. He has a Christian Education degree from Welch and a Master’s degree in Business Science from Trevecca Nazarene University. He is an adjunct faculty member at Welch College. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of IM, Inc., board member of International Training Alliance, and committee chairman of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Metro Nashville.

Craig Mahler

V.P. for Financial Affairs | Welch College

Craig Mahler is the Vice President for Financial Affairs at Welch College.  He is a 2004 graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in business administration with a major in accounting. He also received a master’s in business administration with an emphasis in management and leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2016. Mahler currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges (ABACC) and the Advisory Board of The Veranda Ministries.

Ken Akers

CFO | North American Ministries

Kenneth W. Akers is the Chief Financial Officer of North American Ministries and the Church Extension Loan Fund.  He also serves as the Director of Master’s Men.  Ken is an ordained minister.  He has served as youth director of various churches.  Ken has been Camp Director of the Upper Cumberland Youth Camp for 29 years.  He has additionally served in numerous leadership roles in local and state associations. He earned an Associate of Christian Training degree and Bachelor of Biblical Science degree from Caribbean College.
